What it does

• Educator's can create DRM protected courses on Theta Network in less than 2 minutes.
• Users get instant video load and playback with Theta EdgeCloud Video.

How we built it

• Photon is built on Theta Network. It utilises Theta Testnet as underlying blockchain and Theta EdgeCloud for video services.
• The frontend is built using the latest Next JS.

Challenges we ran into

Deploying on Theta Testnet ws not supported through ethereum development framework. Also some of the docs of cloud were outdated. We had to figure out some things on our own.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to build a fully functional decentralised learning platform which we are proud of.

What we learned

We learned a lot about Theta ecosystem and their offerings.

What's next for Photon

We are excited to build MVP for Photon and launch it on Theta Mainnet. We look forward for support from Theta team.
