Inspiration

This was inspired by our friend who spends a lot of time working in G Suits, building presentations and constantly finds the need to edit their images. Currently they need to use a third party photo editor to accomplish this task for their presentations. With the help from Photo Ready now they can make edits within their google slides directly in their presentation.

What it does

In it's core, users can insert images directly into their google slides project to make high quality photo edits with the click of a button.

How we built it

This project was built using Picsart's API along with Google Apps Script and a third party fetch service.

Challenges we ran into

A big challenge we faced was calling Picsart's API. We ended up needing to us a third party fetch function which finally got us the results needed. Sadly we could not figure out how to append other data points besides the Image. So currently our functions are using the default values.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we reached our MVP goal but wish we could have used more of Piscart's magical API.

What we learned

A lot about google, their G Suites, and how applications are built using Google Apps Script.

What's next for Photo Ready

Our plan for next steps with photo ready would be utilizing more of Piscart's API as well as opening up Photo Ready's capability to more G Suites like Sheets or Docs.
