What inspired us
When trying to edit photo for our project, youtube thumbnail, etc. We find that it is very hard as a new user to learn on how to video edit. We only know the basic such as brightness, crop, resize, etc. But how about harder things such as making blurry images clearer, separate background and foreground. We decided that we want to build a photo editor tool that can help users to perform harder task with a simple click.
What it does
An online web based photo editor that enable user to enjoy the AI photo technology together with the bare bone technology of photoshop. Its a unique experience, try it out now!
How we built it
We add a new menu onto the base photo editor app so that a user can use AI when editing their photos. Currently, the ai only includes super resolution, which is useful for making blurry images sharper.
Challenges we ran into
We use existing third party library as a base code and as such we need to understand the code base before we can add in our AI feature to the photo editor.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to understand roughly about the codebase which is written in javascript, which is very complex and hard to understand. But we managed to integrate our AI tools into the library codebase. We hope that people can make use of our app so that their works will be more efficient and convenient/
What's next for Photo Prettier Pro
Adding and Integrate more AI functionalities so that user can select and choose different tools that help them editing their photos. Hopefully, we can extend this app to include video editor as well not only for photo editor.
