PhoneXR is a high-performance, open-source VR runtime and spatial computing engine for standard Android smartphones paired with budget mobile VR viewers (such as Samsung Gear VR or Google Cardboard).

By combining native Vulkan 1.1 stereoscopic rendering, ARCore 6DOF world-anchored tracking, and MediaPipe GPU hand landmarking, PhoneXR delivers a standalone 6DOF spatial computing experience directly on your smartphone with zero external hardware or tethering required.

And the most nerve-wracking thing was physically testing it on my phone until I got the perfect aligments and mathematics for example Because the Samsung S20's 20:9 ultra-wide display is physically wider than standard VR optics, conventional side-by-side viewports cause eye divergence. PhoneXR applies an inward optical shift (hShift = 140.0f pixels) to center each digital eye viewport precisely over the ~63mm IPD lens centers of Gear VR headsets.
