Inspiration
I have long kept the belief that the revolution is unfinished and the struggle must go on. Faced with repeated setbacks, overwhelming pressure and countless impulses to give up halfway, I decided to build this project as a tangible proof of perseverance. I hope to turn vague willpower into a concrete creation, recording every tough step I took while breaking through self-doubt and difficulties.
What it does
This project serves as both a practical functional tool and a symbol of persistence. It can systematically organize tasks, record progress, track goals and remind us to stick to long-term plans. It helps us sort out messy workloads, split huge objectives into executable small tasks, and guard our original intention whenever we tend to slack off.
How we built it
We split the whole development process into dozens of small phases to avoid being intimidated by the overall difficulty. We started from the core basic framework, iteratively optimized functions one module at a time, and debugged problems piece by piece day after day. Whenever we hit a bottleneck, we paused to sort out logic instead of rushing for a quick result, polishing every detail patiently till the whole project took shape.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge came from inner exhaustion and frustration. We were trapped in technical deadlocks for multiple days; repeated testing brought no ideal outcomes, and we even questioned whether all the efforts were worthwhile. There were days we wanted to abandon the project entirely. Besides technical barriers, balancing personal rest and project progress also became a tough problem to tackle.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we never chose to quit even at the lowest points. We overcame the most tricky technical obstacles independently without giving up halfway. More importantly, we turned a blank draft into a fully functional complete project, proving that slow but steady progress can finally reach the destination. This perseverance itself is the most valuable achievement beyond the finished product.
What we learned
We learned that persistence outweighs talent and speed. It does not matter how fast we advance; what truly matters is never stopping moving forward. Hard times are not signals to retreat, but the threshold before breakthrough. We have mastered the skill of decomposing massive pressure into trivial daily missions, and gained stronger psychological resilience to confront difficulties calmly.
What's next for PHM
The battle is far from over. We plan to expand more practical features to upgrade the project continuously, fix existing defects and optimize user experience. We will keep updating and iterating this work, carry forward the spirit of persistence, and keep exploring and making breakthroughs on the next journey.
