Inspiration

We all know people who have fallen victim to a Phishing attack. Sometimes, the consequences are mild, but other times vulnerable people who simply do not know better lose tens of thousands of dollars. PhishyBusiness is here to change that by creating the first-ever live educational Phishing Test.

Features

By simply entering your phone number on the website, an AI Agent calls you and simulates a phishing call, responding to you and encouraging you with classic scam call tactics. If the callee gives out sensitive information, the AI agent will inform the callee of the mistakes they made and how they can fix it. When the call ends, an additional AI summary of key takeaways will be displayed on the website. The data is collected (with all sensitive data removed) for the purpose of enhancing detection and prevention of scam calls.

Enterprise Applications:

Company-wide tests can help companies teach their employees how to avoid phishing scams while simultaneously learning how vulnerable their employees are to these types of attacks. 47% of companies currently invest in scam call prevention, showing a demand for the product, but also room to grow the market considerably.

Challenges We Ran Into

It was difficult to give the AI Agent the ability to encourage the callee, while also being able to stop once it is clear that they will not give in to the scam. With careful prompt engineering, the Agent will stray slightly from the topic to engage with the callee and feel natural, but keeps steady on it's insistence of the scam.

What’s Next for PhishyBuisness?

  1. A feature to set a future time period in which to receive the call, allowing the user to forget about it and be caught off guard. Also could include a repeat feature to call every 6 months or so
  2. Deeper analysis of call data, finding what scams are the most believable, who is the most vulnerable, and what advice has the best success in preventing people from becoming repeat victims
  3. Personal accounts that can show progress over time for an individual and highlight what they need to work on
