Inspiration - The necessity for efficient solutions to shield users from online scams and the growing concern about cyber risks served as the impetus for the development of a phishing detection system. Cybercriminals now frequently employ sophisticated techniques, such as phishing, to deceive people into disclosing critical information. Seeing how critical it was to counter this threat, I made the decision to start working on a project to develop an intelligent phishing detection system.
What it does - Email Content Analysis, Sender Information Examination, URL Scanning, Real-time Updates, False Positive and False Negative Mitigation.
Challenges we ran into - Evolving Phishing Techniques, Balancing Sensitivity and Specificity, Real-Time URL Scanning, User Privacy and Data Security, Dynamic Email Content.
