By leveraging the Google Gemini API, the system analyzes suspicious content in real time and provides clear, easy-to-understand threat reports instead of complex technical jargon.
A unique feature of PhishGuard AI is PhishVault, a privacy-first Community Threat Intelligence system. With user consent, anonymized phishing samples are securely stored using Firebase Storage and Firestore, allowing the platform to recognize recurring scam campaigns and warn future users about similar threats.
Built with a modern React + TypeScript frontend and a Node.js + Express backend, the application combines artificial intelligence with collaborative security to create a smarter, community-driven defense against cyber fraud.
