We were inspired by our teamates real experience with falling for a phishing scam. His college sent out an email requesting to change his password where the website looked identical to his school. The only thing different was that the scam website had a different url. We used the HuggingFace AI API with the Mixtral 8x7b model for the detection. The web requests were a challenge. We also found that there was a lack of easy to use debugging tools. However, we managed to use Postman to work out the code for using the API and we were able to work through the bugs we encountered.
