This project, inspired by UPSA’s challenge, aims to revolutionize data exploration by empowering every user, whether in France or beyond, to access tailored insights through Tableau Next’s AI capabilities. By eliminating fragmented analyses, we enable seamless collaboration, global scalability, and rapid, informed decision-making. This solution frees developers from repetitive tasks, delivering a unified and intuitive experience across all levels of the organization.

What it does

Tableau Next harnesses cutting-edge AI-driven natural language queries to deliver precise, tailored insights at lightning speed, empowering everyone at UPSA—from top executives to country managers—to access customized data views without relying on developers to create countless analyses. With its sleek, standardized dashboard offering powerful trend analysis, detailed country and product breakdowns, this solution supercharges collaboration, scales effortlessly across regions, and drives rapid, informed decision-making. By minimizing developer workload, Tableau Next unleashes flexible, real-time intelligence that transforms data into impactful business outcomes.

How we built it

We launched this transformative project by diving deep into the needs of UPSA’s business units, posing strategic questions like: “What challenges are you facing with global dashboards?” and “What insights would you unlock with Concierge in Tableau Next?”

With precision, we cleaned and anonymized the data before integrating it into Data Cloud. The creation of a robust semantic model was pivotal, where we defined business preferences and field descriptions to pave the way for future interactions with Concierge.

Simultaneously, we conducted testing with Concierge, fine-tuning business preferences and field descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.

The culmination was a dynamic dashboard mockup, collaboratively validated by UPSA’s business units, which we then transformed into a fully developed dashboard. This powerful tool now serves as the cornerstone for delivering a comprehensive, actionable view of key indicators, empowering smarter decision-making across the organization.
