Inspiration

Pharmacy education is often based on memorization, making it difficult for students to stay motivated and truly understand complex pharmacology concepts. As a pharmacy graduate, I wanted to create a modern learning experience that combines education, practice, and artificial intelligence in one platform.

What it does

Pharmacy is an AI-powered educational platform that helps pharmacy students learn through interactive lessons, quizzes, virtual pharmacy simulations, medicine cards, instructor academies, and an AI study assistant that answers questions based on educational materials.

How I built it

The application was developed using Flutter for the mobile app, Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for user management and data storage, Supabase Storage for educational files, and OpenAI models to power the AI study assistant.

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing an AI assistant that provides accurate educational support while keeping students focused on reliable learning materials. Another challenge was integrating multiple learning systems into a single smooth user experience.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I successfully built a complete educational platform instead of a simple quiz application. It combines AI, gamification, instructor management, and pharmacy education into one application designed for real students.

What I learned

This project strengthened my experience in Flutter development, backend integration, AI-powered education, and designing engaging learning experiences.

What's next for Pharmacy

Future plans include expanding the educational content, adding more pharmacy specialties, improving AI capabilities, and making the platform available to pharmacy students worldwide.
