Inspiration
The inspiration for this program was a desire to find a use for all the science courses we have taken and implement them with programming.
What it does
This program allows the user to select pharmacies and keep track of which pharmacy has which drugs.
How we built it
We built it using python, SQLite, and Qt.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into several challenges especially in the beginning. Our biggest challenges were setting up the development space and efficiently using the SQLite tools.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our biggest accomplishment is the amount of progress we made within the span of a single weekend. We managed to create a solid foundation for this CRUD app in less than twenty four hours.
What we learned
We had lots of hands on experience with Qt and SQLite which deeply broadened our understandings of those development tools.
What's next for Pharmaceutical Inventory Manager
We would like to study HIPPA code guidelines in order to fully comply with the law in the future so that we can use real data as opposed to fabricated data.
