UB Games Review

Inspiration

We took inspiration from MetaCritics and checked available computer PC at Level Up.

What it does

UB Games Review is a website dedicated to providing students with game reviews, ratings, news, and information on available gaming PCs at UB's Level Up. It allows users to stay updated on popular games and find where they can play them on campus.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end to create a user-friendly interface. For the back-end, we implemented a database to track game reviews and PC availability, which updates in real time.

Challenges we ran into

A bunch of bugs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud to have created a platform that combines game ratings and campus resources, making it easier for students to enjoy gaming. We also succeeded in implementing live data for PC availability, a feature we found valuable for UB gamers.

What we learned

We learned a lot about front-end and back-end integration, and the importance of user experience in designing a platform that feels intuitive and informative.

What's next for UB Games Review

We plan to expand UB Games Review by adding multiplayer game events, allowing user-generated reviews, and exploring partnerships with other campus gaming hubs to further enhance the UB gaming experience.
