Inspiration

We are here to encourage you to take a step forward in saving the pets from becoming stray. Our motive is to make a little contribution in making this world a better place to live, than yesterday, for all. You all will agree that pets are one of the sweetest friend to have. Their affection for their owner cannot be ever measured, it's limitless. So, if they are trusting you and giving you enormous love and care, so should you. Because trust and love are the process of give and take. But it is very heart wrenching that people just leave their pets on streets if they don't want them. There is a saying that 'The one whom you don't desire, can be desirable for someone else.' Following this statement, rather than leaving them just like that, provide them shelter and food. So, here we are, as an intermediate for you, so that you can protect, save and make this life better for them.

What it does

This website allows users to Add their pet details for adoption so that the other interested users can send their request to the owner of the pet and further actions can be taken. The user can search for all the pets that are currently available for adoption. It provides user authentication with login and signup features.

How we built it

We have built this website using technologies -

  1. FrontEnd - HTML CSS Bootstrap
  2. Backend - JavaScript
  3. Database - Firebase

Challenges we ran into

Backend Integration was very challenging. Authentication was new to us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we completed the website just in a day adding all the frontend and backend.

What we learned

We learnt firebase technology.

What's next for PetStation

In the future ,we will be adding the details of Shelter Homes, Pet Accessory Shops and geolocation feature.
