Inspiration

Purpose & Motivation The purpose of taking this challenge is to improve my AI skill in analysing the document processing. I really motivated to apply this solution to unlock the Microsoft problem statement. In order to deliver the solution, I have study lot of information regarding Azure services. I am inspired to be invited to join the Hackaton where most of the candidates are well versed in AI and Machine learning.

What it does

I have learned about tools available to increase my knowledge in AI and machine learning and there are people out there, should I need any help to ease my learning journey.

How I built it

The first step would be use Azure Cognitive Services Text Analytics API to automatically extract key phrases and entities from PETRONAS reports. Next, the extracted data can be fed into an Azure Machine Leaning model that uses natural language processing(NLP) and machine learning algorithms to categorize and cluster the data into different topics and sub-topics. Finally, the organized data can be presented to users through a user-friendly interface, such as a dashboard or search tool.

Challenges I ran into

Being a learner, I do face big challenges where I almost give up on learning. Sometimes the huge amount of scattered information regarding AI and machine learning can make me suffocated and unable to continue. But with high level of determination, I tried harder and make the best out of the huge amount of available resources.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Firstly, I'm proud that I was brave enough to register for this Hackathon which to me is an accomplishment on its own. Secondly, I'm proud to deliver a working application that leverages the Computer Vision Cognitive Service which has so many benefits and uses and was incorporated into the web application.

What I learned

I have learned that resilience is very important in doing the hackathon and never give up even when facing some errors, there is always a way to solve it. I have learned a lot throughout all of the challenges that I faced. I've also learned the basic coding skills, and have a chance to put my learning into action in this Hackathon platform. I've appreciated this coding experience and thanks to the Microsoft teams and partner teams for giving out such a wonderful opportunity to all women who want to upskill themselves.

What's next for PETRONAS

In my future plan, I hope I can explore more topics and broaden my understanding of other contexts such as computer vision, and proceed with my learning on other machine learning prediction methods such as RNN and CNN. Hopefully, I am able to excel myself and take on more challenging projects in the future. At the same time, I'm looking forward to having an internship opportunity
