Pet ownership in India is booming. More people than ever are welcoming pets into their homes, forming bonds that are as fulfilling as they are life-changing. But with this rise in pet adoption, we noticed a troubling pattern—many pet owners, despite their best intentions, struggled with proper pet care.

One story that stuck with us was learning that a leading cause of death among house cats was overeating. It wasn’t neglect, but a lack of awareness that caused harm. Many owners didn’t realize the risks of overfeeding, or that certain foods were harmful to their pets. And it wasn’t just nutrition—people struggled with training, healthcare, and even basic pet needs. Resources were scattered, advice was often unreliable, and support was hard to find.

We knew that love alone wasn’t enough. Pet care requires knowledge, responsibility, and the right resources. That’s why we built PetPals—a platform that gives pet owners everything they need in one place to ensure their pets live healthier, happier lives.

What It Does

PetPals is designed to simplify pet ownership by offering a comprehensive support system:

How We Built It

We started by understanding what pet owners truly needed. We spoke to people, researched common challenges, and realized that the biggest problem wasn’t just lack of information, but lack of accessibility to the right resources. Our goal was to build an intuitive platform that not only provided guidance but also integrated pet care into daily life.

We focused on:
