Inspiration

My friends all have pets and they were finding difficulty to go the the vet every time and thought if they were was a way for everyone to take care of their pets without having to travel to the clinic with the pets every time it could be really useful for a large number of people who own pets.

What it does

The Pet Health Tracker is a comprehensive, AI-powered app designed to streamline and enhance every aspect of your pet’s care. Here’s what it does:

AI Vet Assistance: Provides 24/7 access to virtual veterinary consultations. Powered by artificial intelligence, the app offers instant diagnostic support, health advice, and treatment recommendations based on your pet’s symptoms.

Custom Diet Tracker: Tracks daily calorie intake and ensures your pet’s diet is nutritionally balanced. The app helps you manage their weight, food intake and overall health.

Medication Reminder: Keeps track of prescribed medications, providing timely reminders for each dose.

Training Videos : Takes the guesswork out of training by finding and recommending breed-specific training videos. Whether you have a Labrador, German Shepherd, or French Bulldog, the app serves you the best video based on your prompt.

Dog Breed Identifier: Allows you to identify your dog’s breed using just a photo. Simply upload a clear picture of your dog, and the app uses advanced AI technology to analyze physical traits and compare them to a vast database of dog breeds. It then provides an accurate breed identification.

Vaccination Tracker: Helps you stay on top of your pet’s vaccination schedule. The app records past vaccinations, keeps reminders for upcoming shots.

Together, these features offer a powerful and convenient solution to managing your pet’s health, ensuring they receive the best care possible while simplifying the process for pet owners. The Pet Health Tracker makes it easy to keep track of your pet's overall well-being, whether you're at home or on the go.

How we built it

We used 4 programming languages that is Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build this website. We integrated them with the help of VS Code.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of the functions were not working such as the dog breed identifier and the session logger which kept running into errors but we were able to overcome it with the combined efforts of all the team members.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

There is nothing specific, every part of the website means the same to us and we put equal amounts of effort into all the parts of the website and we are proud of every obstacle or hurdle we overcame.

What we learned

We learned a lot about integrating AI into our projects, through the chatbot and breed identifier, and we also improved the quality of our team work.
