Inspiration

Remley’s father was a florist previously, and we wanted to build an app that connected to all three categories nicely.

What it does

Petal Pals allows the user to learn about flowers, and make those flowers into virtual bouquets they can send to a friend or family member.

How we built it

Remley came up with the idea and created a small presentation in Canva along with some lo-fi frames. Bryce sketched these ideas and came up with some more lo-fi frames, then we worked together transforming these into a working Figma prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Before I worked with Remley, I hadn’t really worked with clipping content in Figma. I also felt like we were running out of potential flows really quickly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is our first time making an app from our own ideas. We iterated multiple times and constantly got feedback from each other until we were happy with the result.

How to better use Figma, collaborative skills, standing up for our own ideas.

What's next for Petal Pals

It would be really amazing to create new screens and actually have a functioning text to speech ability in our app!
