🐾 Inspiration

Pet owners often struggle to manage their pets’ health, grooming, feeding schedules, and medical records in one place. Most rely on scattered notes, WhatsApp reminders, or memory — which leads to missed vaccinations and inconsistent care.

We wanted to build something simple, smart, and centralized — a digital companion for every pet parent. That idea became Pet360 — complete care, 360°.

🚀 What it does Pet360 is an all-in-one pet care management platform that helps owners:

📅 Track vaccination & vet appointments 🍽️ Manage feeding schedules 💊 Store medical history & prescriptions 🧼 Plan grooming routines 🔔 Get smart reminders and alerts 📊 Monitor pet health insights in one dashboard

It acts like a health journal + reminder system + pet profile manager in one clean interface.

🛠️ How we built it We focused on performance, scalability, and modern UX.

Tech Stack: Frontend: React + TypeScript Build tool: Vite (fast dev + optimized builds) State Management: Redux Styling: Modern responsive UI components Deployment: Vercel Architecture: Component-based modular design Approach: Designed reusable components for pet cards, schedules, and records Used Redux to maintain centralized state for pets and reminders Optimized routes and lazy loading for faster performance Deployed CI/CD on Vercel for instant updates

⚡ Challenges we ran into

Managing complex global state across multiple pets and schedules Designing a UI that is feature-rich but still beginner-friendly Handling persistent data and syncing updates smoothly Avoiding over-complication while keeping scalability We had to refactor Redux slices and restructure components multiple times to keep the app maintainable.

Structuring Redux properly saves tons of debugging later UX simplicity > feature overload Vite drastically improves developer productivity Deployment early helps catch real-world issues Building for users, not just code quality, changes design decisions

We also improved teamwork, planning, and feature prioritization.
