Pet Culture has three main features: WhereAtMap, DoggieGram, and FindMyBuddy. WhereAtMap allows users to lookup quick facts (name, address, phone, description) of local St. Louis doggie parks and animal shelters. The purpose of this feature is to help community members become aware of nearby and get involved with the animal community. DoggieGram is a custom built profile thread listing animals that are looking for new homes. Every animal has there own individual profile highlighting everything from their #TBT selfie to fun facts. Community members are able to browse the profiles and select which animal they would like to adopt. The request is sent to the "admin" and is later reviewed for acceptance or denial. FindMyBuddy allows members to post their lost pets or lost animals spotted roaming around with no collar. The pets cards provide necessary information to assist with bring the lost pet home.

Objective: Keep humans and pets together.

Challenges I ran into

Working solo is difficult! I underestimated the amount of work needed to build a successful web application from scratch.
