Inspiration
Employment data is currently highly inaccurate and expensive to query for the hourly sector. We want to make it easier to allow employers to easily access data on wages and other employment information in the hourly sector.
What it does
Peryn rewards businesses and workers for submitting wage data and then monetizes this data by charging requestors to request employment data in bulk and to process employment verifications.
How we built it
Currently we have only a frontend in React but we plan to build this project in PhP and React for the application itself. Perynchain is an independent, decentralized chain which stores all employment data. Developed using the Cosmos suite of core components it benefits from proven technology, and interpolarity with all interchain blockchains

What's next for Peryn
We plan to start feeding data in from Upshift which has data on over 50,000 hourly workers and was Founded by one of our Founders. We plan to continue to scale this solution to staffing agencies since they will be open to monetizing employment data and will have workers at hundreds of businesses for each sale we make vs accessing only one business at a time if we try to target employers directly. We will continue to scale this by providing greater rewards to both workers and businesses for employment records that are double verified (information was submittted by both a business and a worker on a given worker's employment).
We plan to boostrap initially but will eventually raise seed capital- most likely from Recruit Holdings as they have already invested in one company of our founders and would be a great strategic partner on the bulk data sales front due to their job board holdings (Indeed.com and Glassdoor.com)
