Inspiration

My past hackathon experiences have shown that the general public is greatly interested in chatbots

What it does

It is an AR chatbot that uses real-world conversational data and Natural Language Processing to help mimic an actual conversation.

How I built it

We used the AR kit from Apple and tensorflow, flask for the web api and the NLP model.

Challenges I ran into

As we had other ideas in mind, we spent a couple of hours working on those instead. When we realise that we were technically incapable of executing those ideas in the remaining hours, we had to quickly pivot leaving us a short amount of time to come up with a new and hopefully a good solution.

We managed to get a full product working

What I learned

To always have a plan and backup plans prior to coming to hackathons.
