Inspiration
Encounter personality testing has always been utilized at university when forming groups with others. Lecturers typically employ it to group people who appreciate each other. However, after experiencing it myself, I find the entire process rather dull. Therefore, I have streamlined the process and infused it with some interesting factors.
What it does
The Encounter Personality Chat involves asking four questions inspired by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, resulting in a total of 16 different personality types. However, since it is not possible to accurately assess personality with just these four questions, this app prefers that you already know about your personality before starting the chat.
How we built it
I build it by starting researching personality test and found this Myers-Briggs Type Indicator which is appretiate for building app in PartyRock, so I simplity it and make some change to build it
Challenges we ran into
During my research on personality tests, I encountered a plethora of factors to consider when determining one's personality. Traditionally, personality tests required a significant amount of information to accurately output a personality profile for the tester. Lastly, I've simulated just four questions for a brief check of personality, so this app prefers that you already know about your own personality.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I take pride in the incorporation of both an image generator and a chatbot into our project. These additions significantly enhanced the overall experience, allowing users to visualize themselves through the image generator and contemplate their decision-making in various scenarios through the chatbot.
What we learned
The most valuable lesson learned was the utilization of PartyRock. This tool impressed me greatly during the development of our humorous application, facilitating an engaging and entertaining process.
What's next for PersonalityChat
In the future, I plan to expand the range of factors considered in the personality assessment. Additionally, I aim to implement features that enable users to communicate with others whose personalities align well with theirs, simulated through the chatbot.
