Everyone gets roasted online — by strangers, by comments, by life. I wanted to flip the script. What if an AI roasted you so brutally that nothing online could hurt you anymore? That was the idea. Built in 1 day.
What it does
Personality Roast is an AI roast chatbot with 4 modes:
- Roast My Personality (Free) - Answer questions, get destroyed
- Roast My Problems (Free) - Vent frustrations, get roasted
- Savage Mode (Pro - $0.99/month) - Zero mercy, zero filter
- Daily Roast (Pro - $0.99/month) - Fresh personalized roast every day
How I built it
Built solo in 1 day using Flutter + Google Gemini AI + RevenueCat.
- Flutter for cross-platform iOS and Android
- Gemini API for AI roast generation
- RevenueCat SDK for subscription management
- Apple In-App Purchase for payments
Challenges
Google Play production access took longer than expected — so I pivoted to iOS in the same day. Same codebase, new platform. Flutter delivered.
What I learned
Ship fast. Adapt faster. The best response to a blocker is to move around it.

Android Google Play launch, more roast modes, social sharing viral loop.
