Inspiration

I wanted to make a personal website since a very long time, but I kept putting it off because I didn't want it to be resource intensive with gazillion frameworks holding it together. So one fine day after coming across Andrej Karpathy's website I decided to make a minimal zen-like website using just HTML and CSS (cuz he did the same thing :) )

What it does

It's a single page website which works as a control centre for the rest of my social links.

How we built it

Using only HTML and CSS, and of course a free domain from Name.com under GitHub Student Developer Pack

Challenges we ran into

I didn't know how to use media queries to set constraints on the screen size based on the device, like max-width etc. but somehow after endless hours of scrolling in stackoverflow I figured it out!!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I wanted a minimal website, and a minimal website is what I made; me is happy :))

What we learned

Never estimate the amount of time it'll take for a particular project. Cuz it'll definitely be wrong

What's next for Personal-Website

I'm not very sure, cuz I have to scrutinise every feature before adding it. I don't want to overturn the delicate balance on the website. But that said I think I can add a small game on the website, kinda like the chrome-dinosaur-game, to add some personality.
