Inspiration
I have always wanted to make a personal website and the workshop provided by codeJam was the perfect opportunity to start!
What it does
It is a simple website with 3 tabs: CV, About, and Projects
How I built it
I built it using React as well as some templates from Canva
Challenges I ran into
At first, I really tried to do everything with components but I had trouble lining everything up exactly how I wanted using only css. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I was wasting a lot of time adjusting pixels and really didn't have the intuition to make it look how I wanted. So instead, I started using Canva. I exported images for static components of the website.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am pretty happy with how it turned out given never working with React before.
What I learned
I need to watch an in-depth tutorial on components and css.
What's next for Personal Website
Migrating from static images to more dynamic and interactive features.
