Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the rising concern over sedentary lifestyles in the workplace, I set out to create a new solution to promote health and wellness. I was motivated by the idea of leveraging artificial intelligence to build an innovative tool that could seamlessly integrate into the office environment and assist individuals in maintaining an active lifestyle.
What it does
My AI workout-building tool, nestled within Coda, empowers office workers to prioritize their well-being by seamlessly incorporating exercise into their daily routines. Using a combination of machine learning algorithms and personalized user data, the tool generates customized workout plans tailored to each individual's fitness level, preferences, and time constraints. With just a few clicks, employees can access a wide range of exercise routines, from desk stretches to full-body workouts, ensuring that they stay physically active throughout the workday.
How we built it
I used the flexibility of Coda's platform and it's new AI functionality to create a series of cards and buttons that creates the perfect prompt for the desired workout of the user. I worked hard to create a seamless user experience, incorporating interactive features and intuitive interfaces to simplify the process of building recording, and following fitness routines.
Challenges we ran into
Building a simple-to-use interface for a rather complicated doc did prove to be a bit of a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I absolutely love the visual prompt builder I built as an input interface for the tool. I feel like it makes the doc very easy to use despite the complicated backend. I think this visual prompt builder is also extremely scaleable to other AI use cases in Coda.
What we learned
I gained a deep understanding of the complexities involved in developing an AI-powered tool for coda, including its strengths, weaknesses, and differences compared to other tools like ChatGPT.
What's next for Personal Trainer AI
I would love to integrate additional features that recommend certain parts of your body to work on based on the workouts you have done previously. Taking more thought out of the process and ensuring people are exercising every part of their body equally.
