Inspiration
I wanted to create a personal portfolio website to showcase my projects, blog posts, my achievements, so I created one and hosted it on GitHub pages.
What it does
This is personal portfolio website. It has all the information about me.
How we built it
I built it using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and used libraries such as TagCloud.js, AOS.js, Swiper.js for animations on my website.
Challenges we ran into
As it was first time working on a large website with multiple pages, I was very confused and was facing many problems while building the front-end. The theme selection had to be unique and I based it off on Google and Microsoft's theme. The animations and form control was also a bit difficult for implementation.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I finally completed the website and did it the way I wanted. It's running up online and looks perfect. There are some minor bugs which can be improved overtime.
What I learned
I learnt about GitHub pages, JavaScript libraries and basic front-end development.
What's next for Personal Portfolio Website
Dark mode on the portfolio website would look good. I may try implementing that.
Note: I started this project in September, and during LHD I fixed bugs, added new features, animations, etc.
