I have a brown thumb, and the planter box on my windows sill has always quickly becomes a plant graveyard. I know how much people find joy and community in gardening, especially during COVID, so I created an app that allows people to grow plants on their phone, and share them with others.
What it does
In the app, you can plant seeds of hibiscus, lavender, and hostas, and watch them grow over time. You also can water them, and uproot them to share with friends.
How I built it
Personal Planter is built in Godot, and is being compiled for Android. The app access device time information to track growth over time, and uses unique codes to share plants between users.
