Inspiration
I have been using Jira Software from past 2 years. I have worked on two different reporting tools till now. It was very much easy and sophisticated while using Jira. Improvements are being made in Jira helped me to learn many things like creating different charts, JQL and dashboards. So fascinated to use Jira features and to observe the improvements done by them for the product. The inspiration comes form the Jira itself. Thought of doing something new which is useful for others.
What it does
Personal Planner Jira Whiteboard template will helps an employee/ individual to record of events, transactions, or observations kept daily or at frequent intervals. Such that he/she can able to have a track on the updates on particular things which he/she is interested in.
How I built it
Created different spaces "Office Space" & "Personal Space" in which we can give inputs like List of ToDo Items, Tasks incomplete, Reminders for meetings/ priority tasks. Created a Learning bucket to update the status of learning new things. Added iFrames of Stock Market, Vaccine Doses/ Covid cases emerged in Canada on a daily basis. Added Cricket Score updates & News iFrame as well. By Double tapping on that particular iFrame will gets updated in short span of time without leading to other websites.
Challenges I ran into
Finding out suitable iFrames and add in the whiteboard created a challenge for me. Used Trial and Error method to add the iFrames. I have encountered few iFrames are not fitted in the template as well.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
In the creation of this template helped me to enhance more about Jira.
What I learned
Learnt how to create a whiteboard and take up challenging tasks like participating in creation of this template.
What's next for Personal Planner Jira Whiteboard Template
