Inspiration

The idea for Persona100 was born from challenges I personally faced during product development and decision-making. When attempting to conduct actual interviews, the significant time and cost required made it impractical from the outset. After repeatedly experiencing this issue myself, the strong awareness of the problem—"Can't we validate hypotheses more efficiently and quickly?"—became the source of inspiration.

What it does

Persona100 is a decision-support tool that allows simultaneous interviews with 100 meticulously crafted AI personas. It collects user responses in just 60 seconds, analyzes the answers across all responses using AI, and supports decision-making for product development and marketing strategies.

Specifically:

  • Select from over 224 detailed personas
  • Generate custom personas freely
  • Pose interview questions (image attachments possible)
  • AI analyzes 100 responses, providing sentiment analysis and deep insights
  • Chat with personas of interest for deeper exploration
  • Export results as CSV files

How we built it

Persona100 leverages Bolt.new, using the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro model for its AI backend. The frontend features a simple, user-friendly UI built rapidly. Particular attention was given to fine-tuning the AI model for persona generation and response processing.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was ensuring the "quality" and "reliability" of AI responses. Individual AI answers had subtle variations, requiring extensive trial and error to achieve "precision reliable enough for users to base decisions on." Ultimately, we overcame this by leveraging statistical trends from the volume of 100 responses.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're especially proud of using Persona100 itself to develop Persona100. Efficiently validating feature priorities and needs for the project with our own tool yielded highly practical results. Another major achievement was rapidly implementing CSV export and custom persona generation based on user feedback.

What we learned

Through developing Persona100, we learned users seek not "perfect answers" but "real, deep insights useful for decision-making." We also discovered that detailed persona profiles significantly impact AI response reliability.

What's next for Persona100 – 60-Second AI Interviews

Next, we'll focus on features to further clarify AI response reasoning and thought processes. We'll advance API integration to enhance flexibility for developers embedding it in CI/CD pipelines. Additional multilingual support and real-time collaboration features will expand Persona100's applications.
