Persona Profile Generator

This generator guides the user in creating a User Persona for any study or product development purposes.

Inspiration

Creating User Personas have always been a tedious job. This allows anyone (engineers, subject matter experts or graphics designers) without the need of a business analyst to help craft an User Persona.

What it does

With minimal input as a starting point, the generator creates an User Persona with a full profile. The user also gets prompted to provide details of the User Persona, thereby learning about how to craft an User Persona.

How we built it

The whole project is built using the AWS PartyRock platform with the minimal set of widgets provided. This includes the use of these available widgets:

  • User Input (for initial seeding of the User Persona)
  • Static Text
  • Text Generation (for generating the full profile)
  • Image Generation (for generating the profile image)
  • Chatbot (for providing details about the User Prosona)

Challenges we ran into

Limited widgets that we can use means we cannot provide an elaborate solution. The solution needs to be broken up into several widgets and then chained. In some cases, this doesn't provide the flexibility that we needed.

What we learned

The different types of LLMs will give different types of results. It was fun to try the different types of models and compare the outputs.

What's next for Persona Profile Generator

We will be using this tool for our internal uses to help our team speed up User Personas generation.
