PERSONA

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project was Alzheimer’s disease, but I wanted to approach it from a different perspective. In general, short films about this subject tend to focus on patients, usually elderly people, but I wanted to explore the work of doctors and researchers instead.

Concept

My goal was to project a near future and allow the audience to see the motivations of the main character, a doctor: her vocation, her goals, her optimism, her sense of humor, her empathy toward patients, her dedication to her work, as well as her fears, doubts, and frustrations.

Production

I created the short film entirely on a laptop, using mainly the Freepik.com suite, along with Eleven Labs and CapCut for editing. My main challenge was to maintain coherence among all the characters so that a clear identification with the protagonist could be achieved.
