Building permits can be frustrating and confusing for people in AEC industry. Government data can extend back hundreds of years with no effective way of accessing them. What is hidden in the data can be tremendously useful to professionals in AEC industry and homeowners.

Imported government data into tables and maps and post it on HTML.

Challenges I ran into

  • How to automate the downloading of public domain data as they are scattered in different formats.
  • How to scrub

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

  • managed to get a running site. Found a way to automate the image file gathering process.
