Inspiration

I thought that a weather app that uses current LLM models would be a great showcase of how Bolt can create a super personalized app for whatever a user wants to do.

What it does

Lets a user input to-do list and hobbies and based on the weather for a given week tells them the best days to do it.

How we built it

Straight up vibe coded with bolt. Literally did on last day, currently writing this 12 minutes before submission end time.

Challenges we ran into

Nothing really, Bolt works well just needs to be finessed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Created in a few hours.

What we learned

As a technical user it's pretty interesting to have highly customizable applications for the rest of the world. Ignoring the code was frustrating in some regards for me as I'm used to diving in myself but it did work well enough. I think it's going to be a great future for prototyping and the non-technical.

What's next for Weather Playbook

I guess we'll see if anyone likes it. It's free now as I'm not paying for anything but even if I did add cost down the road it would be small and only if a ton of people are using it so that I can't have it exist within free tiers.
