Inspiration
Desperate times needs desperate measures, however, we need to keep long term impact in mind as well as short term benefits. Looking at various attempts by lots of people/organisations in creating an app which allows contact tracing to help during these Corona times, almost all of them require people to give-up their privacy. here I attempt to create an app for contact tracing and alerting without the need for the user to give up its privacy.
What it does
the idea is simple, an mobile app that keeps a track of all devices in vicinity for users. this app should be used to keep status of person if he/she is infected. if infected, the alert is broadcast to devices that were in close range in last 14-30 days (configurable). important to note is that devices are not stored on central server but on users device and it automatically sends alert when status changes.
