Inspiration

My wife is often comparing many items of various qualities and costs. She asked for an app where she can easily do these calculations and compare all her options. ⚖️

What it does

Per 100 allows users to enter the cost and quantity of a product they’re looking to purchase. It will then provide a cost per 100 of those units. They can then save this to a list of items they are comparing to see which product has the best value. 💰

How I built it

Using SwiftUI built from the ground up, including using RevenueCat. Oh, and my wife’s mathematical wonder to get the calculations correct. 🐱

Challenges we ran into

Clearly defining the UI to show users there are two seperate uses; a quick calculation, and comparison lists. 🧮

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

Creating a unique but familiar UX through the app drawing inspiration from Apple’s first party apps. 🍎

What I learned

Passing an app to my wife to test very quickly points out areas for improvement. 😂
