Inspiration
The main inspiration behind this app was to analyse existing information available to Pepsico and build an engaging experience for its customers based on that knowledge.
What it does
Pep Engage improves consumer experience by leveraging the power of data and personalization. Consumers can use our app to locate nearby events (which Pepsico can potentially sponsor), visualize a 3D prototype of NFT collectibles from their favorite Pepsico brands, and engage with Pepsico's social media through our web app.
How we built it
We utilized React.js for the frontend, Flask for the backend, Matplotlib and Pandas for the data analysis and visualization. We used Blender for building 3D collectible prototypes
Challenges we ran into
We had some challenges rendering graphs built by Matplotlib on the React frontend.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning how to use Blender to visualize 3D Models. Building a minimum viable product (MVP) of our original idea for the hackathon.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate data analytics tools like Pandas and Matplotlib for data visualization into a web app. We also learned how to consume 3D models using Blender.
What's next for Pep Engage
We can possibly move from visualizing 3D prototypes to actually minting NFT collectibles as a future scope.
