Pentagram - Safety Solutions

Pentagram Safety Solutions was established on October 2nd, 2021. It all came to life with the CodeRED Artemis Hackathon. The time to determine group names came and somehow, someway, we settled on Pentagram. Pentagram was faced with a challenge that needed us to spread awareness about safety in the workplace as well as finding ways to help decrease the time to action of safety related incidents that occur. After careful consideration, our developers decided to go ahead and planned on building a informative yet reactive website that would be able to help its users. We decided to incorporate different modules such as incident reporting, a hazard catalog, safety inspections, and feedback submissions to help create a database of any new workplace dangers that arise. During this project I was a bit of a beginner with HTML and CSS. The project consisted of a lot of grunt work and getting familiar with HTML and CSS syntax. My main contribution was creating the About section and coming up with ideas for the website design and functions of the website. My main goal was to make sure the website was clean and intuitive and had a solid foundation.

I did research for our content and applied it to our website. It was my first time ever using JavaScript so I did simple copy-and-paste coding along with minor tweaks to the text such as boosting words and formatting. I also helped in the page design, specifically adding in the background image and creating transparent text boxes to the text to make it easier to read.
