When we look at other countries Early Warning System like Japan and Taiwan, they have refined system that could get people notified and evacuated better. Obviously time is very important in these stages, but i feel its not really the case for Indonesia because its still lacking.

PENJAGA Mobile app is our Early Warning System by utilitizing the Bluetooth Low Energy system, the same that Taiwan use. Bluetooth Low Energy or BLE is a technology from Bluetooth 4.0 and later which uses really low energy and only keep certain chips on to deliver micro information as fast as possible.

This project is 50% vibe-coded and 50% human designed. We use Claude to implement the Bluetooth Low Energy system and to give assistance on turning it into an Android APK file. While we the humans make and perfecting the user interface, experience, and tinker the android systems.

We do face challenges throughout in the making. We weren't seniors on this field, and thus we do need AI (claude on this instance) to help us understand and convert our idea into an application.

What we're proud the most is we do get the app working despite three of us not having a field of experience in the area. Its not 100% pure our doing because an AI involved but nevertheless we are happy its working.

What we've learned is that making things that has a purpose wasnt an easy thing but a dedication could at least get us to the core functions of it to work. What we also learned that AI do can help us, not to replace entirely but to guide us when something didnt go planned.

PENJAGA Mobile hopefully can get further updates and then can be used nationwide for the public to get faster information and better prepared to turn down the risk that could happen
