Inspiration

Tired of adding new recipient data to my bank one by one when the details are stuck in an image, scribbled on a piece of paper, or buried in a long text.

What it does

Our app automatically extracts the bank details you need to make a transfer, whether from a lengthy text, an image in your gallery, or a photo you take with your camera.

How I built it

I built it using Compose Multiplatform.

Challenges I ran into

Recognizing handwriting on paper was a challenge at the beginning.

Accomplishments I’m proud of

I completed the entire process, from the initial idea and design to coding the app, publishing it on both Android and iOS App Stores, and securing the first subscriptions.

What I learned

I learned the discipline to tackle tasks with the little time I have each day, staying consistent and making progress a bit at a time.

What’s next for PegaCuenta

We’re planning to add features that detect bank accounts commonly used in scams. Our goal is to help people and give them security.
