Inspiration

We were inspired by how students often struggle to understand difficult topics alone but excel when learning with peers. Traditional platforms focus on individual study, so we wanted to build a collaborative space where students can help each other, share notes, and ask questions freely.

What it Does

Our platform allows students to:

Form study groups by subject or course

Collaborate in real-time using discussion boards and sessions

Track progress individually and collectively

Join voice rooms for live discussions

Use an AI chat assistant to get instant help on topics

Set up a Pomodoro timer to manage focused study sessions together

How We Built It

Frontend: React + Tailwind CSS for a responsive interface

Backend: Flask for APIs and user management

Features: Integrated voice chat, AI-powered Q&A, and a Pomodoro timer

Challenges We Ran Into

Synchronizing real-time edits between multiple users

Designing a UI that is intuitive for everyone

Integrating voice chat, AI assistant, and Pomodoro timer smoothly without slowing the app

Despite these challenges, we learned the value of collaboration, testing, and iteration to make learning easier for students.
