Inspiration
A problem caused by low network connectivity during interviews caused a bad impression and increased chances of plagiarism during the interview.
What it does
Uses socket programming to join both the interviewee and interviewer under the same platform. Also, the inbuilt code editor and compiler make it easier for better assessment.
How we built it
We used the JavaScript framework to create the full-stack application based on MERN.
Challenges we ran into
We had to change our project at the last moment at the suggestion of our mentor, so we were required to start everything from 0, managing time something still remained incomplete.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We had to face the challenge of changing the project in the middle and we still managed to do some stuff in the last quarter of the hackathon.
What we learned
We learned Github Actions and CI/CD pipeline to create this project.
What's next for Peer Hiring
We are going to complete this project and make it production ready so that it could be implemented in real-life scenarios.
