Inspiration
Finding teammates to work on projects at certain events such as hackathons can be challenging. This tool is meant to alleviate that problem.
What it does
The event organizer will add their event to our website. Our site will automatically generate a link so the event organizer may share it with their participants.
Participants will then use the link and be shown on a list for the specific event. The participants have the option to add themselves to the list or use the search bar to find other participants with the relevant skills. Participants can add their name, contact information, a short description of themselves and their skills.
How I built it
I designed the entire interface with its interactions on Figma while the team worked on the backend and frontend code.
Challenges I ran into
Communication challenges especially within a remote setting. Information about key technology flow is oftentimes misconstrued within the remote setting.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Adapting the designs of the site from one product space to another with minimal time while managing the constraints of the technology stack.
What I learned
Never switch ideas when you have less than 24 hours left to complete a project.
