• How it works: Geologically tracks users and makes a game where users can participate to play tag in. Server designates one person to be “it.” Once the person tags someone else, they quickly tap their phone so that it tags the person closest to their location to be the new person who is ‘it’ and broadcasts to all players the identity of the person who is now ‘it.’

  • Challenges I ran into: server side problems, complexities between choosing c or javascript to code the pebble application, flask jsonify not being clear about turning strings into empty strings.

  • What I learned how servers and backend is a lot more complicated that I thought. Setting up a server for an application that is purely built for pebble watch in their new online ide ran into some unexpected problems that couldn’t be solved by stack overflow.

  • Pebble Tag hopes to be just the start of a more enhanced interactions between Pebble watch users and strengthening and empowering the smartwatch community to interact with eachother.
