Inspiration
We wanted to learn about the new technologies that are now at our reach, such as Pebble. HackMTY could provide with a testing unit, so we took the challenge to code something useful in under 24 hours.
How it works
We get accelerometer data from the Pebble, we send it through Bluetoooth to an Android App, then we use Socket to send the axis data that came from the Pebble to a Python script, that positions the cursor on the center and follows the movement of the Pebble.
Challenges I ran into
Poor/Confusing Pebble JS and Pebble C Documentation. Correctly detect the accelometer data. How to get the data from the Android App to the Computer.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Developing an cross-platform app with close to none documentation.
What I learned
Pebble WatchApps Developments, Incluing C and JS. Input Manipulation. DataGram Socket
What's next for Pebble Ninja
Implement a click, using one of the Pebble buttons avaliable.
