Inspiration

Many students struggle throughout the placement process due to a lack of proper guidance, personalized feedback, and realistic interview practice. They often use multiple platforms for resume building, internship discovery, coding preparation, and interview practice, making the process fragmented and inefficient.

We wanted to create a single AI-powered platform that guides candidates from resume preparation to interview success. This idea led to the creation of PeakPrep AI, an intelligent placement preparation assistant that helps students improve their resumes, discover opportunities, practice interviews, solve coding challenges, and receive actionable feedback.

What it does

PeakPrep AI is an end-to-end career preparation platform designed to help students become placement-ready.

The platform provides:

  • Secure user authentication and personalized profiles
  • Internship and career opportunity recommendations
  • AI-powered ATS resume analysis and optimization suggestions
  • Personalized interview preparation based on the user's resume and target role
  • Interactive AI interviews with follow-up questioning

Instead of using multiple tools, candidates can prepare for every stage of the recruitment process from a single platform.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was integrating multiple career-preparation workflows into a single seamless experience. We needed to ensure that resume analysis, internship recommendations, coding assessments, and interview preparation all worked together effectively.

Building an intelligent interview system capable of generating personalized questions based on resumes and previous responses required significant prompt engineering and contextual processing.

Creating meaningful ATS analysis and performance reports was another challenge, as the feedback needed to be both accurate and actionable.

We also worked extensively on designing a smooth user experience that remains intuitive despite offering multiple advanced features.
