Inspiration

The theme was inspired by the subjugation of the body shaped by external forces, gazes, and patriarchal norms, using the metaphor of a sweet fruit to evoke desire, control, and fragility.

What it does

How we built it

We wrote down the concept of the film and then moved on to create a visual moodboard for the film. All the images were created in Midjourney and then using the image-to-video in Freepik we used Kling to create the videos for the entire project. Finally we relied on Epidemic sound for the SFX and edited the film traditionally on Premier Pro.

Challenges we ran into

The unpredictability of Ai is always a challenge but for us this is possibly the most rewarding aspect in a creative partnership with Ai as well. Some results are total curveballs but it does make you think harder and sometime push your concept a little further.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The film has travelled to a few film festivals around the world including Korea, Uk and Switzerland. It'd lovely to see the film being appreciated by a global audience.

What we learned

Video generations in Ai are developing at an exponential rate. It' s always fascinating to stay present with them and evolve together.

What's next for PEACH

hoping to develop this as a series to speak more towards the voices of the unheard.
