but how can we dive into it. How do existing companies traverse live drilling data? (market research was needed)

What it does

Money and Time are crucial for an important business. Our interface will allow companies to

1. Analyze existing drilling data to view performance
2. Gather drilling cost data and efficiency

How we built it

This web app was not made alone. Our team utilized express.js, mySQL, SSMS, charts.js and python to give you the best product we can give

Challenges we ran into

Creating a web app in one day wasn't easy, though. Especially for a handfull of new developers who spent 4 hours trying to read from a json file (I wish I was lying)

Many of the frameworks that we used were new for our team. Although this caused many stressfull hours during times we should have been sleeping, we all enjoyed the challenge it gave us

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Nothing feels better than making something that works! Our team was suprised in our ability to create efficient algorithms to quickly cypher through all the data and create an interactive visualization tool

What we learned

We learned more than we can write. Our team learned how to analyze data better and rapidly develop a web application. We also learned about the downfalls of hubris and how McDonald's workers don't enjoy it when you order 5 McChickens at 3AM

What's next for PB Drilling Solutions

There was so much that we just couldn't do. One of the biggest programs that we had to cut was a predictive modeling system that was interactive with the homepage. We plan on finishing that part of the project sometime in the near future
