Inspiration
Children learn numerous important social and emotional skills by playing with one another. They learn how to share, take turns, and work together as they interact with each other. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, children are losing this very important part in their education and everyday lives.
What it does
Pazoo is an online puzzle game that allows children to play with one another without having to come in contact.
How I built it
Pazoo is built using Flutter which uses Dart as its programming language.
Challenges I ran into
- Limited time to finish the project
- Communication with the team members since we had to do the Hackathon virtually.
- We tried to utilized Flutter, which was something that was foreign for us. We each only had about 2-3 weeks to understand the environment and to learn Dart language. Flutter is a framework that permits its users to create cross platform mobile applications with only learning one programming language which is something that is very huge!
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are very proud to finish up the prototype despite the challenges. There were still many things that was left undone but overall it was a very good experience that can be shared with future employers and friends.
What I learned
- Teamwork
- Time management
- Leadership
- Being responsible
What's next for PaZoo
Our team will do our best to add in more functionalities to our game and implementing what is necessary so that this game will be able to be played online properly and enjoyed by the future generations around the world.
